Hello and welcome! My name is Katie Beckett and I teach fifth grade Dual Language at Milstead Middle School in the Pasadena Independent School District. I am a graduate of Michigan State University where I recieved my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Language Arts. I am currently in Michigan States Masters in Teaching and Curriculum program in which I will graduate this May with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy.
